Two-Alarm Fire Displaces Families Early on March 25, 2008, a corner apartment on the upper level of an 8-unit, 2-story apartment complex in Hesperia caught fire. Ceremony Honors Vance Tomaselli’s Memory Hundreds of uniformed public safety officers—both police and fire—from many Southern California jurisdictions joined the family and friends of San Bernardino County Fire Captain Vance Tomaselli at a memorial service for Tomaselli on Wednesday, March 5.
