• Pine oil and dried needles are responsible for making an ordinary Christmas Tree highly combustible.
• All holiday decorative light sets sold in California must be UL approved. (Underwriters Laboratories)
• Most injuries, burns and deaths that occur during the Holiday Season can be attributed to holiday decorations and human carelessness.
• During the Holiday Season, many auto accidents are caused by people driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• All materials used for decorative purposes in businesses and public assemblies shall be made of Fire Retardant Materials. All Christmas trees used for decorative purposes shall be treated with Flame Retardant Chemicals applied by the State Fire Marshal Licensed Applicator only!
