| Hotel/Motel Escape |
- Like all buildings, hotels and motels can have fires. You can increase your chance of survival by being prepared and by doing the right thing in an emergency.

| R.V., Camping and Boating Safety |
- Know how and where to build your camporee.
- Never use lighters, matches, or camp stoves inside your tent.
- Set up barbecue grills away from houses and trees.
- During electrical storms, stay away from water and trees.
- Boaters, shut off your engines before you add fuel.
- Every year there are over 4,000 deaths from accidental boating.
- The amount of injuries resulting from recreational boating in 1987 was
3,501. This represented an increase from the 1986 total of 2,847.

| Vacation Safety |
- 39.5 deaths per 100,000 are due to accidents each summer.
- Barbecues can be dangerous as you deal with high temperatures, flammable liquids, and tender skin.
