The crews at Station 319 provide specialized Aircraft Rescue Firefighting protection for numerous large aerospace industries, multiple aircraft hanger facilities and a runway that is 3 miles long, one of the longest in the nation. SCLA is also a major military transport facility supporting the U.S. Army National Training Center, Fort Irwin and is expected to become one of Southern California’s major cargo hubs. |
