Station 9 is located in the community of Mentone. Daily 24-hr staffing consists of one full-time Captain, one Paramedic Engineer, and one Limited Term Firefighter (L.T.). There is a Paid Call Company based out of this station as well. Vehicles located here are one ICS Type 1 structure engine, and one ICS Type 3 brush engine. The on-duty crew takes the engine that is most appropriate, while the PCF company responds the remaining engine as needed.

In addition to supporting the Mentone community and surrounding unincorporated areas, this station assists the cities of Redlands and Yucaipa. Station 9 also responds up Highway 38 to assist the U.S. Forest Service and the Forest Falls community.
