SBC Fire Station 111 > North Desert Division

Station 111 is located in Lucerne Valley. Daily staffing is one Captain, one Paramedic Firefighter, one Engineer, and one Limited Term Firefighter (LT). This station houses an ICS Type 1 structure engine, an ICS Type 3 brush engine with four-wheel drive, one Ambulance outfitted with Advanced Life Support equipment, and a water tender for additional rural water needs on fires. There is a paid-call firefighter program here to augment the regular staffing when needed. The crews here also mentor a Fire Explorer program.

In addition to the geographically large Lucerne Valley area, Company 111 protects Highway 18, the road to Big Bear, and Highway 247, the route to Yucca Valley.
