On October 25th, at 10:15 a.m., San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to a 2nd alarm structure fire at an abandoned military housing complex located at George Blvd. and Nevada St. at the Southern California Logistics Airport in Victorville. Upon their arrival, the single story 8-plex had fire coming through the roof. The fire quickly spread through the common attic to the adjacent apartments.

The fire was confined to the building of origin, however was a complete loss. No damage sustained by the surrounding structures. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
