County Fire’s Special Events Coordinator, Ron Avanzolini, was honored by the Inland Empire Economic Partnership at the IEEP’s 22nd Annual Gala to be held at the Ontario Convention Center, on Monday, February 4, 2008.

Avanzolini received a Special Recognition award from the IEEP as one of six individuals who received honors for outstanding achievement in 2007. He was honored for his work with the film industry and film commissions.

“Ron is great to work with,” said Sheri Davis, director of the Inland Empire Film Commission, which is a division of the IEEP. ”He cuts through red tape and he’s very fast, flexible and professional. He has always delivered Gold Star performance.”

In October 2007, Avanzolini received the “County Employee of the Year” prize at the California On Location Awards, sponsored by the California Film Commission and the film community.
